I love working with runners, because I am a runner.
I found strength training after years of looking for solutions to help me get past overuse injuries and get back to running. Running at an elite level in college had pushed my body to its limits and, at that time, my body was not strong enough to handle it.

My mission with Strength Agency is to teach the world to strength train so more people can experience the freedom and confidence that comes from having a physically capable, resilient body. Runners are at the top of that list of “people.”
Highlights of my personal running resume include:
- MA high school state champion in outdoor track 1 Mile (2012)
- Scholarship-earner and two-year captain for Duke University cross country and track & field teams
- Medal-finisher / scorer at ACC Conference for Duke (1 mile indoors – 6th place in 4:44, 1500m outdoors – 4th place in 4:18)
- Three-time qualifier for NCAA Division I East Regional meet en route to qualifying for and competing at Division I nationals at Hayward Field (2016)
- For full list of my collegiate performances/bests see here

Today, a decade after graduating college, I’ve rediscovered my love of endurance racing, competing regularly in road races, track meets, Hyrox races, open water swims, and triathlons. My body doesn’t feel perfect all the time, but it’s grown to be much more resilient: able to handle the ups and downs of hard training with minimal time sidelined by injury. Strength training has been the primary change that has helped me get back to racing (and enjoying it!).

I’ve coached runners ranging from Boston Marathon qualifiers and collegiate athletes to elementary schoolers in Girls on the Run. I’ve also been a camp counselor at Duke University’s running camps, where I’ve led education sessions teaching high schoolers about the fundamentals of strength training.

Let me teach you (or your group) how to strength train for improved running performance and resilience! I work with individuals in-person (in NY’s Capital District) and virtually as well as lead workshops for groups. Contact me for more details.
