My niche is the intersection between running and strength training.
These are both fundamental athletic skills and pillars of health and longevity. I enjoy bringing strength training knowledge into running circles and running knowledge into strength training circles. Being at the intersection allows me to draw on the wisdom of each community. I’m also better able to navigate and correct for the ways these two groups often misunderstand each other.

Coaching

Path to Independence Model:
My goal is to teach you how to strength train and help you make it part of your regular routine, whether that routine continues to involve me or not.
I’m happy to offer clients a “path to independence” model: we work together for a few weeks or a few months (however long we need to get you confident with the fundamentals) and then you graduate!
After that, I would still be available to support your strength-building journey, if you’d like me to, through the following services:
- Weekly workout plans for graduated clients that you pay to receive virtually and complete on your own
- Individualized programming I help build around your needs (i.e., you’ve graduated to virtual training)
- Less frequent in-person workouts to check in as needed and keep you feeling confident
If the “path to independence” isn’t right for you, no problem! I also offer traditional, recurring personal training.
